Why Tri?

Just todd looking out his office window. Another hard day of work. ( i bet that is a fun work joke that circulates around these kinds of jobs and just never gets old...)

a strange thing occurred on saturday. my little sister aubri was signed up to do a triathlon but found out she had a cross country meet the same day. so she called and asked if i would take her place. the night before i decided what the heck and decided to do it. i didn't want anyone to know who i was at the meet in case i was really bad. i drove sara's car, wore todd's helmet, and raced under the alias of aubri mcswain. if any of you ever decide to tri one, practice swimming.

How did the triathlon go? You obviously did pretty well, you're still alive.

Oh how I wish you'd gotten photo's
--and it would haven been even better if you would have taken them of yourself during each event. Remember that idea for the marathon. Maybe have a camera hanging around your neck and snap a picture of yourself every 5 miles or so? Wouldn't that be fun?

I'd like more details of the triathalon, all the dirty, dirty details...:)

Yeah, I wish I could just hike around doing nothing all day and getting paid for it! (brian gets this all the time)

Oh Ash, I love that I called you Sat. morning at 10 am, just after I rolled out of bed, only to hear you breathlessly say " I just finished a triathlon 10 minutes ago." Oh you make me feel real good about myself.

i'd give it a tri. i seriously have wanted to do one for a long time, but feel too dumb. i say we plan one and do it together. how were the results? i suck at swimming.

oh yeah, and love the cut

Oh my word, is your hair up, or did you cut it?? Either way it looks cute. I would rather die 1000 deaths than ever even think about doing a triathlon. You are pretty amazing!
