Another fun thing is that i got to go to the unitas last week with todd! a strange man took this picture for us and emailed it to us after we gave him our email via a little hand held recorder.
basically i helped todd "erase the trace" all week. we hiked a lot of trails, cleared fire rings, and talked to boy scouts about Leave No Trace. This is the contraversal t shirt alina designed and gave to me that i wore as my ... dang it i can't remember the word. not costume, but as the thing i wore to work in. anyway, if you can think of the word let me know. i think it starts with a 'p'. but the main thing is, look close and see if you can figure out why it is contraversal. we will take a vote.

FOR THE LOVE!!! Just shave it off already! You know I love you and mean that in a loving way! When are we going to play "Honey up Hearts" again?
Does the guy on the t-shirt have a beard? Is that who Todd is trying to emulate with his facial hair? I told him he drops 3-5 years off his age with each shave. When it's all gone, maybe he'll look in his 20s again. Thanks for being the all-stars at our softball game. For all you other readers, we were tied with 2 outs and Ash and Todd were up to bat. Ash graciously walked then Todd hit our winning runs home. We beat the team we were tied for 2nd with in the league all because of team Murdock!!
So you have to torture us and remove the facial hair gradually? Reno is working tonight (July 24th). Where is the bbq? Maybe I will drop in for a spell? Let me know!

Oh Oh Oh ... the beard, the shirt, the back packs, looks like not much has changed since you got back to 'civilization'.
uniform? i don't know ash. nice work on the softballing. oh yeah, i don't get the controversy. is it perhaps an evolutionary spin? the man does look somewhat like a neanderthal, so you know, i thought something subconsciously saying 'back to basic'. i'm a loser.

It appears as tho the dood in the t-shirt is holding a few uprooted trees? That's not exactly erasing the trace? But I'm just going out on a "limb" here.
The Wilderness Warrior's got this axe that says, "hey man if you make one more fire ring next to a trail I'm gonna hack up your body with my dull steel hatchet and 'erase the trace' of any evidence that you just got murdered.
That's pretty good.
